The mayor of the town and the director general of schools have visited the facilities to monitor the status of the works.

The Ministry of Education and Universities, in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, is developing the redevelopment of the College of Education and Primary Juan Antonio Lopez Alcaraz.

So, this morning the mayor of the town, Maria Angeles Tunisia, and the general director of Educational Centers, Maria Dolores Valcarcel, visited the facilities to monitor the status of works

Thus, it will provide the school with a new line of primary education.

To do this, it is building an additional floor on the module to enable child seven classrooms of primary education and communicate with a gateway the first floor of the main building and module.

The building has an area of ​​559 square meters, which after enlargement will reach 1,169 square meters.

Finally, note that the investment of this performance is more than 350,000 euros and is part of the '+ Educational Quality + School Success', launched by the Ministry of Education and Universities strategy and is funded by European funds regional development.
