The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Employment and Training, has launched a Plan Agricultural Training, which includes a total of 16 training activities in different areas related to the primary sector.

Specifically, 400 lumbrerenses will benefit from this training plan is in collaboration with the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment and with different agricultural associations as COAG-IR, ADEA-ASAJA, FECOAM, UPA and the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural experiences of Lorca - CIFE

In this sense, the Councillor for Agriculture, José María Parra, stressed that "programming courses is aimed at agricultural workers and unemployed people seeking in agriculture and livestock a new job opportunity".
