The school year begins in Puerto Lumbreras with improvements and a new center adapted to bilingual education (08/09/2016)

Three of the four schools that are in the town are bilingual in this new course.

They have enrolled a total of 1,697 students, representing an increase of 2.23% of the school population in the municipality.

Children in the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras classes have started today with the opening of the school year 2016/2017.

For the year 2016/2017, Puerto Lumbreras has three of its four schools adapted to bilingual education.

In addition, 80% of schools and centers are set up as bilingual as the IES Rambla de Nogalte is also immersed in this program since last year.
