The famous Chirigota de Beniaján will perform with its new show "Los Machos Ibéricos" in the hall of the Cultural Center next February 24.
A costume party has also been organized with the performance of the dance school Riá Pitá in the sports hall of San Javier Street.
The Department of Culture of the City of Puerto Lumbreras is finalizing the preparations to celebrate the arrival of Carnival to the municipality.
Specifically, a large children's party is being organized with a costume contest, which will not lack surprises and popular games.
In this sense, the children's party will take place on Friday, February 24 at 5 pm in the pavilion of Calle San Javier.
The event will feature the performance of the dancers of the dance school Riá Pitá.
That same afternoon, a jury will choose the winners of the costume contest that will be awarded with lots of school material.
Thus, three children will be awarded the prize for the most original disguise.
In addition, a snack will be offered for the attendees and all the children will be able to take their souvenir photo, since a photomatón will be installed in the enclosure of the pavilion.
On the other hand, the famous Chirigota de Beniaján will perform with its new show "Los Machos Ibéricos" at 21.00 hours in the hall of the Cultural Center.
A band composed of 12 "ham cutters" who will step on the town for the first time with a fun show that will make the audience laugh.
The letter corresponds one more year to Javier Sánchez, director of the Chirigota de Beniaján, and music to Eugenio Cheza Martínez.
Finally, it should be noted that the two activities will be free and are part of the annual program organized by the City of Puerto Lumbreras to promote culture, leisure and entertainment in the municipality.
