More than 300 specimens of 50 breeds in the VII National Canine Contest "City of Puerto Lumbreras" (12/03/2017)

The competition organized by the Dog Association of Cabezo de la Jara, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, has brought together more than 300 canine specimens from different parts of Europe.

Puerto Lumbreras has celebrated this weekend the VII National Canine Championships "City of Puerto Lumbreras", organized by the Dog Association Cabezo de la Jara, in collaboration with the Department of Sports.

The contest has been held in the Municipal Football Field and has gathered more than 300 copies.

At the same time, the 15th Regional Monograph of Puerto Lumbreras was held, in which more than 80 boxers participated.

The meeting was attended by the Italian Franco Marzo, who has been in charge of judging the male specimens and the English Norma Nox, in charge of punctuating the female specimens.

In the same way, it should be noted that last night a social dinner was held prior to the competition, in which a tribute was paid to two copies bearing the title of Champion of Spain or foreign country: Albero de Mirantxito and Barby de Boxpo.

Thus, the best absolute champion has been Aidan de Villallor, by Jose Ruiz (Sevilla), while the best absolute female has been proclaimed Ambar, by Francisco Javier Arroba (Cantabria).

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Mª Ángeles Tunisia, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports and presidents of associations and canine federations inaugurated the competition with the traditional ribbon cutting.

In this sense, Councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco, stressed that "it was a day in which both participants and residents of the municipality have enjoyed the more than 300 exhibits that have been exhibited."

Similarly, Burrueco has thanked all contestants and assistants for the great reception that has the contest year after year.

Finally, Pedro Ramón García, participant and organizer of the event through the Dog Association of Cabezo de la Jara, explained that "it is a professional competition, which has been attended by competitors from many countries, but it is also a day Designed for all citizens who wish to see the best specimens of more than 50 races ".
