The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the operation 'ANATOMY', has developed an investigation aimed at clarifying the alleged homicide of a neighbor of Puerto Lumbreras, which has culminated, in less than 48 hours, with the detention of A person alleged to have committed the crime of willful homicide.
The performance began when the Benemérita was alerted to the death of a person at the doors of his home, a dwelling located in the town of Puerto Lumbreras, where the dead body of a 49-year-old man appeared on the floor. .
To the place they moved patrols of the Corps and emergency medical services that did not manage to revive it, reason why, once communicated to the court of Guard of Lorca, began the workings of removal of the corpse.
Immediately, the Civil Guard initiated the corresponding investigation to clarify if it was a natural death or, if not, locate and arrest the perpetrator of death.
Once obtained the forensic report, the agents became aware that the death had been produced by the impact of several pellets in the skull and arm of the deceased.
From that moment, the Civil Guard coordinated the necessary work to obtain indications and the taking of declarations, which allowed to locate a neighbor of the deceased who, supposedly, moments before the death, had initiated with him a discussion.
The investigation has allowed the Guardia Civil to detain him as an alleged perpetrator of the illicit homicide of his neighbor in the early hours of yesterday, April 2.
He is a male, of Spanish nationality and of 34 years of age.
The arrest was brought to the attention of the Court of Instruction number 7 of Lorca, which authorized the entry and registration in the domicile of the arrested.
The arrested and the investigations will be made available to the Court of Instruction number 7 of Lorca (Murcia), on the morning of today, April 3.
