The schools Juan Antonio López Alcaraz and Asunción Jordán of Puerto Lumbreras organized this morning a solidarity race in their respective facilities with the participation of more than 800 children in favor of Unicef.
This race is part of the "Drops for Niger" campaign and aims to combat the lack of access to water in this country.
To support this work in Niger, Unicef ​​Spain organizes each year the "Drops for Niger" solidarity careers with educational centers throughout Spain, with the aim of obtaining funds that will allow one million children to be enrolled in that country.
The Councilor for Children, Sonia López, stressed that "this initiative aims to raise awareness and awareness among citizens about the importance of water, especially in countries that are scarce, as it is working with a good cause."
