The throne of St. John the Evangelist arrived at the crossroads where the Virgin of Sorrows and the image of the Risen Christ were found, carried entirely by women, as well as the image of St. John.
This morning the traditional procession of the Encounter between Our Lady of Sorrows, the image of the Lord Jesus Christ Risen and St. John the Evangelist has been celebrated.
The procession has been organized by the Brotherhood of Stma.
Virgen de los Dolores and is the last of those celebrated in Puerto Lumbreras on the occasion of its Holy Week.
At eleven o'clock in the morning, the throne of San Juan Evangelista arrived at the crossroads, where later the rest of the images arrived.
First the Virgin of Sorrows has done and finally the image of the Risen Christ, carried entirely by women, has entered the street, just like the image of San Juan.
When the three images have been found in the middle of the street, the applause has multiplied, turning this moment into one of the most emotional of all Holy Week.
Then, at 12.00 a Holy Mass of Easter was celebrated in the square of the Church.
