The Department of Employment of the City of Puerto Lumbreras has launched two new employment programs that have allowed the recruitment of three young people enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
Specifically, through the "Lumbreras Joven" program, two full-time administrative assistants have been hired for six months.
On the other hand, the City Council has implemented the employment program "Lumbreras Limpiatour", through which a full-time cleaning laborer has been hired.
Among the functions of the pawn is the cleaning and disinfection of the buildings and tourist infrastructures to properly conserve the tourist attraction of the municipality.
The Councilor for Employment, Angela Morillas, stressed that "the projects focused on the Youth Guarantee program have as main objective to improve the occupancy of young unemployed under 30 years."
In addition, Morillas said that "we continue to promote such initiatives that encourage job creation to further reduce the local unemployment rate currently at 8.16% and facilitate the labor insertion of young people with public utility services ".
The requirement for young people to fulfill these services is to be registered in the National System of Youth Guarantee.
The office of the Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia has been in charge of carrying out the procedure for pre-selection of candidates, according to the profile requested.
These two projects have a total grant of 27,252.24.
They are financed with funds from the Ministry responsible for employment, transferred to the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the SEF, co-financed with the European Social Fund, being the promoter of the Town Council of Puerto Lumbreras.
Those who wish to enroll in the Youth Guarantee System to be able to access future employment programs must go to the Puerto Lumbreras Young Space.
The hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 1.30 pm and on Mondays from 4.30 pm to 8 pm.
