From the Socialist Party we understand that the claims made by health professionals, which are not based on any political interest, but to provide citizens with quality health services, dignified and equal to those of other parts of the Region of Murcia.
They warn that bad management could have irreversible consequences, something extremely serious, that concerns the citizens and those who watch over Public Services.
Nurses show their concern about the great burden of care that the emergency department has been suffering in recent years, together with the scarcity of resources, both human and infrastructures, causing situations of saturation, thus endangering patient safety .
According to the nurses of this service, since December 2015, the union delegates of this hospital in various meetings with the Directorate of Area III and the Staff Board, have exposed this situation and have expressed the need to take measures to improve human resources And materials of this service.
We extend these claims to the Health Center of Puerto Lumbreras, which has approved medical services that the Regional Government refuses to put into operation.
This is a global worsening of the service area III, since the urgencies of the Rafael Méndez Hospital collapse when not being attended at its center.
