More than a hundred boys and girls from 4 to 14 years old participate in the Puerto Lumbreras Summer Sports School, which is located in the Municipal Sports Center.
During the summer months, the small ones realize a complete program of activities that includes sports, aquatic, artistic and musical workshops.
The children, divided by age groups, carry out activities carried out by professors with university degrees.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Rubén Burrueco explained that "the aim of the school is to offer leisure alternatives and free time that promote the personal development of students and help family reconciliation, thereby favoring the practice of healthy activities in youth ".
The Summer Sports School, organized by the Sports Association of Puerto Lumbreras, will finish on August 15.
It should be noted that the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras this year has 4 summer schools that offer various activities such as horse riding, English, music, water activities and hiking trails, so that the children of the municipality occupy their free time during the vacation period School children.
