The famous group "Los Chichos" will star in the concert summit of the festivities on Saturday, December 9 at 11.00 pm at the Multipurpose Rural Center.
Puerto Lumbreras celebrates next week the Fiestas de la Purísima in the hamlet of La Estación-Esparragal.
The program will offer more than 30 cultural, sports and religious activities, which will take place between December 2 and 10 in the district of Lumbrerense.
The program designed by the Department of Celebrations of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras begins on December 2 with an Equine Cattle Fair, in which visitors can see more than 400 heads of cattle.
At 10.00 a petanque contest will take place, next to the Mercado Semanal de La Estación.
In the evening, from 11pm, there will be a concert by the group "Más que flamenco" at the Daltons café.
On Sunday, the Cattle Fair will continue and 12 hours of indoor soccer will take place "Memorial Pascual Ortuño Cayuela" and the cycle-walk La Estación-Esparragal.
It will be a bicycle tour by urban circuit with departure at 11.00 from the Multipurpose Rural Center.
At 12.00 the prizes of the literary contest of children's stories "Relatos del Esparragal", organized by the AMPA of the Purísima Concepción school, will be awarded.
On the night of Tuesday, December 5, the group "Aires de valeta" will perform in concert at Daltons Café.
On Wednesday, December 6, at 09.30 am, a tennis tournament will be held and, at 10.30 am, the XXIV Popular Race "La Estación de Puerto Lumbreras".

In this activity the group of Ánimas de Zarcilla de Totana, Cuadrilla Municipal de Pulpí, the Folkloric Marine Association of Cope de Águilas and Cuadrilla de Ánimas del Esparragal will participate.
On Friday, December 8, the day of the Immaculate Conception, there will be a floral offering and a mass in honor of the patron saint at the Ermita del Esparragal.
In addition, there will be a football match between veterans of Puerto Lumbreras and veterans of the hamlet of La Estación-Esparragal, and the playground with attractions will remain open from 12.30 to 17.30.
From 3.30 pm, Restaurante Guirrete will celebrate a party with live music with the performance of the Caramelo group.

On Saturday, December 9, the day begins with the "Juan Asensio" wine contest at 11.00 at the Multiusos Rural Center, where trophies will be awarded to the award-winning wine with the best flavor and the best color.
Those interested in participating in this contest must provide a minimum of two liters of their own harvest made in 2017.
Starting at 3:30 p.m., Restaurante Guirrete will celebrate a party with live music.
