The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, has met with the general director of Educational Centers, Mª Remedios Lajara, and the general director of Vocational Training and Special Education Teaching, Sergio López, to plan improvement actions in schools Township.
Later, the presidents of the Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students (AMPA) have joined the meeting.
Specifically, the mayor has requested the general direction of Educational Centers, dependent on the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, the implementation of refurbishment and improvement works in the facilities of the four public schools and sports courts of the playgrounds for an amount higher than 400,000 euros.
The works in the courtyards would consist in the construction of a metallic structure that would cover the existing sports courts and would allow to protect the students from the inclement weather during their school use.
