Sports Councilman, Juan Rubén Burrueco, and Endurance Sport Solutions manager, Aitor Jiménez, presented this morning the third round of the Endurance Run Series, which will be held in Puerto Lumbreras.
Specifically, the sports competition will be held on Saturday, January 13, starting at 7:00 p.m.
This is a sporting event that, after passing through Murcia and Los Alcázares, will arrive next month at Puerto Lumbreras with the hope of attracting hundreds of athletes of all levels and from all parts of the national scene.
The test will be held in an urban circuit and asphalted, approved by the Spanish Athletics Federation, with an exit on the esplanade next to the Municipal Sports Center.
This race will have two distances in each race, the homologated one of 10 kilometers and the open test of 5 kilometers.
The homologated competition will consist of 2 laps to a circuit of 5,000 meters.
The cost of registration varies between 9 and 13 euros for the route of 5 kilometers and between 11 and 15 euros for the 10 kilometers, depending on the moment in which registration is formalized. Those interested in participating may do so on the www page. endurancesport.es.
All registrations can be made through the web and until the closing date of registrations, setting such day for the Tuesday before the test at 22:00 hours.
There will be an individual classification for each test and also a general classification where the 3 best results will be added.
In case of a tie to points, it will be resolved by the best time taken in any of the 3 tests.
One of the great attractions of this circuit will be the cash prizes, with 900 euros to distribute among the participants, with the same economic amount for both sexes.
To qualify for trophies and cash prizes, it will be mandatory to attend the delivery ceremony that will be held at the end of the race.
It should be noted that this circuit has the title of "fastest race in the Region of Murcia", since last year in its first edition in the capital, the top 10 classified managed to lose 32 minutes, figures never seen in our Region .
Finally, Juan Rubén Burrueco has encouraged citizens "to enjoy the largest running event in the region of Murcia, people who come to our town can spend a pleasant day of leisure combining sports with the tourist attractions offered by our municipality "
The councilor pointed out that "the realization of this event in the town is good news for sports fans, at the same time it is an excellent opportunity for the promotion of local trade and tourism, attracting more visitors and generate benefits in the municipal economic activity ".
