Thousands of children have taken to the streets this afternoon to receive the Three Kings on their arrival in the municipality.
This year, Their Majesties have been accompanied by animated characters, charangas, dancers from the Riá Pitá dance academy and the Municipal Music Band.
In addition, the floats that were winners in the parade that took place on the occasion of the patron festivities last October also participated in the parade.
As for the route, it has been similar to last year.
The ride began at 5:00 pm from Almería Avenue to continue along Calle San Francisco, Nuestra Señora del Rosario, Mayor, Orfeón Fernández Caballero and ended at Región Murciana Avenue until the Cultural Center courtyard.
Once there, the Magi of the East have distributed more than 2,000 gifts to all children attending.
The children could personally greet Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar and ask for their wishes.
It should be noted that the City of Puerto Lumbreras has coordinated a special security device for this occasion with local police officers, members of Civil Protection and Emergency, as well as health personnel.
