The president of the Community, Fernando Lopez Miras, received today in the Palace of San Esteban the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Maria Angeles Tunis, with whom he analyzed the needs and concerns of the inhabitants of the municipality in relation to three areas, mainly.

In terms of infrastructures, the regional chief executive and the mayor discussed possible solutions to convert the former Parador de Turismo of the municipality into a regional reference for training in tourism, gastronomy and restoration.

In the field of education, María Ángeles Túnez discussed with López Miras the upcoming construction of a new Integrated Vocational Training Center, already contemplated in the Budgets.

Also, regarding water, the mayor of the Lumbreren municipality addressed the need for a cubic hectometre coming from the Negratín reservoir.
