The Chamber of Commerce of Lorca and Puerto Lumbreras, in collaboration with the City Council of Puerto Lumbreras and the association Aseplu, has promoted a campaign to boost trade in the municipality under the slogan "The treasure of Puerto Lumbreras, local commerce."
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, explained that "with this slogan it is intended to convey the idea that in the shops of the town you have everything you need without having to travel to other municipalities or large areas. Small and medium commerce is also part of our local treasure. "
Thus, within the campaign has organized the initiative "record purchase", in which the winner will be awarded with a prize of 1,500 euros, which must spend in a period of time (one morning) and only in establishments who have participated in the campaign.
It should be noted that the winner of the raffle will not be able to make purchases over 300 euros in each of the participating merchants.
During the week of February 26 to March 2, the bases and inscriptions, as well as the check books, will be distributed in stores that express their interest in participating in the campaign.
In addition, businesses can withdraw the checkbooks in the Delegation of the Chamber.
The establishments will place a badge, delivered at the same time as the check book, in a visible place in their premises with the information relative to the draw.
The draw to reveal the name of the winner will be on April 5 at 11:00 am in the Delegation of the Chamber.
The extraction of the winning ticket from the draw will take place in an act chaired by the general director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification.
The next day, April 6, the winner will make purchases in the shops of Puerto Lumbreras, from 10.00 to 13.00 hours, and must start at the establishment that delivered the winning check.
The mayor of the town, Mª Ángeles Túnez, has encouraged establishments to join this campaign and stressed that "with this action it is intended to encourage and encourage sales of local commerce, it is a novel initiative of commercial promotion, in the that all citizens who make purchases over 10 euros in the establishments attached to the campaign may participate ".
It should be noted that this initiative is subsidized by the General Directorate of Trade, Consumption and Administrative Simplification of the Region of Murcia.
