Puerto Lumbreras continues to decrease the unemployment rate in the municipality and it is 5 consecutive months in which this figure has fallen.
According to the local mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, "Puerto Lumbreras is advancing thanks to the efforts, initiatives and the efforts of citizens in a common project. We have 5 months in a row down the strike, and now we find ourselves 10 points down the national average. "
Specifically, during the last five months, according to data from the Regional Service Centre for Employment and Training, the town has fallen by 8.92%.
