The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosts during the July Summer Camp 'Camp Inglés "in which 60 young people enhance their learning of English for 10 days.
Specifically, the initiative takes place in the Youth Hostel Cabezo la Jara and was organized by the Municipality in cooperation with the firm of Leisure and Recreation 'El Molino'.
The councilman of Youth and Sports, Mariano Carrasco, stressed that "the head of the Youth Hostel Jara has become one of the benchmarks for summer camps in our region. For the first year learning English as a Second Language has been the subject of the camp in which 60 young people participated from various municipalities in the region. "
Among the activities developed during the first fortnight of July, has featured educational workshops and crafts, water activities and sports in the youth hostel facilities and environmental workshops.
For the first time this year the camp has included several hours of lessons for learning English at different levels, as well as recreational activities, film and lectures in English.
On the other hand include typical camp activities such as environmental itineraries, excursions, visits and activities on the farm, visit the observatory, visit the interpretive center, parties, theme days and other fun activities.
