The City Council of Puerto Lumbreras has signed a collaboration agreement with the Association of Friends of Music that makes up the local municipal band.
Through this agreement, signed this morning by the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, and President of the Band, Antonio González, the session provides a subsidy of 42,000 euros to the association for the promotion of musical culture in this field and the organization of musical events throughout the year.
"The aim of this paper is to encourage business and musical culture in the town of Puerto Lumbreras. For several years, the council is working with the Municipal Band to make music a part of the cultural offerings of Puerto Lumbreras" highlights the Councillor for Education, Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García.
Through this formalized agreement with the municipality, the Municipal Band is committed to carrying out those musical activities that may be necessary for the promotion of musical culture led to the general public of the municipality.

The Association of Friends of Music of Puerto Lumbreras is an associative entity dedicated to promoting music in the local and regional level, which since its establishment in 1996, has developed an important work of cultural promotion in the municipality.
