Over 500 people attended the Astronomical Observatory Cabezo de la Jara to observe the fall of 'Persian' popularly known as''falling stars' or 'tears of San Lorenzo'.
Through the Department of Tourism of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched the campaign 'Meet the Stars'.
The campaign, which includes activities such as guided tours, lectures and seminars outdoor place on Wednesdays and Saturdays from July through September, at 22:00 pm at the Astronomical Observatory Cabezo de la Jara.
Since the start of the campaign 'Meet the Stars' in July are more than 1,000 people, from various countries and cities, who attended the guided tours offered by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras in collaboration with the Astronomical Association of the Region Murcia.
The Councillor for Tourism, Ginés David Piñero stated that "during this week have been more than 500 people who participated in the activities scheduled at the Astronomical Observatory Cabezo de la Jara to observe the dramatic drop in 'Persian' popularly known as' tears San Lorenzo ', "concluded Piñero encouraging citizens to"' participate in the upcoming free guided tours every Wednesday and Saturday in August and September from 22.00. "
