On Saturday 11 September from 23.00 the town is decked out with the celebration of the 52nd edition of Dancing Queen.
The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, together with the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel Garcia presented the 2010 edition of Dancing Queen with eight ladies who paraded down the catwalk over 50 meters and will compete to be the Queen of the Festival 2010 in Puerto Lumbreras.

The town of Puerto Lumbreras host next Saturday 11th September from 23.00 the traditional Queen's Ball is scheduled to attend more than 2,000 people.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Isabel García, presented this morning at the new Center Sociocultural Elven House which will be the 52 th edition of Dancing Queen.
During the presentation, which also featured the Queen 2009, Ana Isabel Lorenzo, have been presented at eight ladies who will compete for the crown this year.
"El Baile de la Reina is one of the most deeply rooted traditions held since 1957 in the town of Puerto Lumbreras. This year, the gala will approach the magical spectacle of Cirque du Soleil and will offer many surprises to all attendees," said Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
From 22.00 hours start the night for the ladies with the official reception by the Municipal Corporation in the new Centre Sociocultural House Elves.
Subsequently, from 23.00 hours, will begin the grand gala of Dancing Queen with the arrival of the candidates accompanied by their respective facilities We Municipal Sports Complex.
During the ceremony, the Queen of the Festival 2009, Ana Isabel Lorenzo, cede his position to one of the candidates this year hope to be elected by popular vote.
The girls, aged between 17 and 21 are Yurena Falcon Gea Tamara, Victoria Granados, Ana Hellin, Daphne Pavé, Sara Romero, Sheila Hanna Rubio and Sánchez.
As for the technical deployment, the Gala Ball Queen 2010 will feature a runway of more than 50 meters long and a stage of more than 170 square meters which will accommodate an extravaganza of light and color.
This edition also recover the famous night of Cirque du Soleil shows and will feature acrobatics and various entertainment.
In this sense, the mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, wanted to emphasize "the great technical deployment is underway for several weeks in the city for the 2010 Dancing Queen is a magical night."
Sanchez has also thanked "more than fifty people have joined the organization Baile de la Reina to make a further year at the flagship event of the municipality."
Finally, after the coronation of the new queen during the gala next Saturday, the mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, opens choreographed waltz accompanied by the Queen of the Festival 2010.
Like every year, the event has been organized by the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, and is sponsored by several companies as Sodelor, Extruline Systems, Construction and Tourism Consortium CHM Nogalte Medina.
JOSÉ MARÃA DEL VAS, HOST OF THE QUEEN OF DANCE 2010
The journalist María José Del Vas second consecutive year will be the host of Dancing Queen 2010.
