The Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and a dozen lumbrerenses employers have formalized the collaboration agreement which will boost shares in local companies to implement management systems Social Responsibility through the project Murcia Rural Employment Activa (mappers) .
The session will work with companies to install management systems that promote social responsibility to the environment, saving energy, to reconcile work and family life of employees or labor inclusion of disadvantaged people.

The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, accompanied by the Councillor for Employment and Social Policy, M ª Angeles Tunisia, has signed a collaboration agreement with a dozen local businesses to promote the implementation of management systems for Corporate Social Responsibility.
The initiative is part of the project Murcia Rural Busi Activa (mappers), aims to strengthen the fabric of the town and implement measures conducive to good business practices.
"Social responsibility has become in recent years an alternative for the development and adaptation of firms to new corporate practices. With the collaboration of the consistory with a dozen local companies what we want is to accompany and advise on the implementation up new initiatives to promote economic and social development of the company, "said the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
Thus, the project Activa Murcia Rural Employment, funded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the European Social Fund, aims specifically to encourage the development of the business of the town and encourage the creation of employment.
In addition, the project will promote social and professional integration of groups with integration difficulties (women, long-term unemployed, people with disabilities or young people under 30 years), mainly through training and advice, and new Social Responsibility local businesses.
In this regard, the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras is the partner responsible for implementing actions relating to Social Responsibility and the implementation of an Occupational Centre for data on the development of small and medium enterprises in relation to indices of social responsibility, or an Office Socially Responsible Territories which focuses on the implementation of social responsibility plans social agents, and small and medium enterprises.
For this, the municipality has made a study on Social Responsibility in SMEs lumbrerenses for actual data rates of Social Responsibility in the business.
"With this new step and formalize agreements with local companies will implement specific measures in the field of social responsibility to support the development, expansion and improvement of business competitiveness in the town," said the Mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez.
