Hiking Club Puerto Lumbreras 'Andaya' held its annual convention at the head of the Jara where they have gathered more than 80 walkers.
The day has had a tour of the trail astronomical Cabezo de la Jara which has included visits to the Centre of Interpretation of Nature and the Astronomical Observatory.
In addition, more than 80 members of the Club have made the botanical trail head showing the native vegetation of the area.
The closing of the day's hiking was developed at the Youth Hostel Cabezo la Jara, which was also attended by the Mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, accompanied by members of the government team.
