The town of Puerto Lumbreras offers since last night a new museum collection on Graphology in showing the work and career of Augustus Vels, considered one of the great figures of graphology in Spain.

Thus, the Councillor for Culture and Festivities in Puerto Lumbreras, Isabel García, accompanied by the grafoanalista Jordi Morera, last night inaugurated the new museum collection is located in the Casa de los Duendes de Puerto Lumbreras, and that "seeks to highlight the work and trajectory of handwriting lumbrerense Vels Augusto. "

In this regard, Councillor Isabel Garcia, noted that "since last week this new museum collection became part of the System of Museums of the Region of Murcia, and also represents the only collection of graphology as outlined in the Region Murcia. "

During the inauguration took Jordi Morera, grafoanalista over 30 years experience and a delegate to Levante and Murcia Grafoanalistas the Consultative Group of Spain.

The collection also displays notes on the life and career of Augustus Vels, born in Puerto Lumbreras in 1917 and died in Barcelona in 2000.

Vels has more than forty degrees and diplomas that recognize their academic career in Spain and abroad, who are also exposed in museum collection.

Professor Vels was president and promoter of the AGC (Association of Advisory Grafoanalistas Spain).

Throughout his long career he won many awards both academically and professionally.

He was also declared Puerto Lumbreras's favorite son, where he was also named a street.

"This museum collection on graphology, our intention is to preserve, interpret and publicize the work of Augusto lumbrerense Vels handwriting, which is considered as one of the great figures of Spanish handwriting," concluded Councillor for Culture and Festivities the town, Isabel García.

Project 'Cube 11-111 Graphology'

Coinciding with the inauguration of the new museum collection, the Department of Culture and Celebration has launched the project 'The Bucket 11-111 graphology' based on citizen participation.

It consists of a cube of wrought iron, hermetically sealed in which citizens can enter through a slot in any papers that embody desires, thoughts or opinions, with your name and date of birth.

Throughout the year the citizens may participate, and when all the writing end of 2011 will become part of the Association of Graphologists for study and analysis in order to analyze the writing lumbrerense population and all citizens who visit the Library museum.
