The Regional Election Committee People's Party confirmed to Pedro Antonio Sánchez as a candidate for mayor of Puerto Lumbreras for municipal elections May 22.
Thus, Pedro Antonio Sánchez lead back the candidacy of the popular mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, which is designed to incorporate new people from different areas and groups in the municipality.
According to Sanchez, "this new application out for the youth, training and commitment to continue the project of modern city full of opportunities."
Thus, Sanchez will aim to retain his position as head of the Mayor of the city, which came in 2003, and won in the last two municipal elections with absolute majority, obtaining 12 of 17 council members.
In the last elections held on the occasion of the municipal elections, almost 70 percent supported the candidacy popular lumbrerenses headed by Sanchez.
