Over 300 people attended the event Election and Coronation of Queen Child 2011 held at the Municipal Public Park and also featured several musical performances.
A total of ten young people were presented as candidates for this year's Queen of the Festival Infantil 2011.

Carmen Garcia was crowned the new Queen of Puerto Lumbreras Child 2011.
A total of 12 girls from fourth grade all schools in the municipality presented themselves as candidates for the election of the Queen 2011.
After depositing the names of the candidates in a ballot box, Reina Infantil 2010, Naomi Ayala, removed the name of the new Reina Infantil 2011.
So, Carmen Garcia, 9 years old and a student of Antonio Lopez Juan Alcaraz CP, was crowned Queen of the Festival Infantil 2011, and the other girls Bridesmaids proclaimed this year.
Municipal Park in Puerto Lumbreras was the venue for the performance of such act, where there were also various activities among which the dance of the outgoing queen Naomi Ayala, or Ria Pita Flamenco Ballet.
