The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has implemented through the Culture Department's monthly reprogramming cultural initiatives in the Library Network of the town with "the aim of encouraging reading among young children"
Specifically, among the numerous initiatives are scheduled reading workshops, storytelling and a drawing competition for smaller stories and illustrate the stories told during educational sessions in libraries.
On the other hand, it has organized the contest "Librarian for a Day 'in which the children can learn to be a librarian for a library network in the municipality.
