Rejected another complaint of the council of the Socialist Party against the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras (01/01/2012)

The Supreme Court declared inadmissible the administrative appeal brought by the council of the PSOE against the agreement of collaboration between the Autonomous Region and the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras to co-finance the proposed construction of Day Care Center in the municipality.

Sunday January 1, 2011.

The administrator Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Justice of Murcia dismissed the administrative appeal brought by the council of the PSOE against the agreement entered into by the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration, and the City of Puerto Lumbreras, to regulate the granting of subsidy to the financing of the proposed construction of Day Care Center of Puerto Lumbreras.

Thus, the Supreme Court dismissed the action brought by the Socialist councilors in the previous term: Lidia Galdón Aviles, Laura Perez Morales, Antonia Cerezuela Parra and Francisco Garcia Jimenez.

According to the spokesman of the popular group in the city of Puerto Lumbreras, Dolores Arenas, "the Socialist Party of Puerto Lumbreras is continuing its strategy of slander and false accusations, but justice has just clarified everything and leaving everyone in their place."

Arenas says that the strategy of the council of the PSOE is based "on the filing of appeals without legal basis to discredit the City Government Team, and to hinder its work trying to get an effective suspension of the administrative activity."

In this sense, the PSOE brought the February 6, 2009 the administrative appeal to challenge the agreement of collaboration between the Autonomous Community and City Hall.

Thus, the Board of Administrative High Court of Justice declared as invalid the action brought by the Socialist councilors.

The PP spokesman in Puerto Lumbreras, Dolores Arenas, explained that "allegations of both the Socialists and the Popular Party City are intended only to generate suspicion and distrust, with a clear intention clearly electioneering within a strategy of 'anything goes'.

"So, once again, the PSOE in Puerto Lumbreras not have any qualms about blatantly lying, continuing with its policy of false accusations and confusion among the citizens."

"We recall that since 2003, courts have been closed or have not attended a number of complaints filed by the Socialist Party for the sole purpose of doing harm to the City Council, members of his administration and trying to stop all projects designed to lumbrerenses ".

As an example, last year the Administrative Court No. 2 of Murcia also rejected the administrative appeal filed by the Municipal Group Socialist council of Puerto Lumbreras against the City for an alleged violation of fundamental rights in the exercise of his office, in relation the request for access to information from various administrative records at City Hall.

Arenas concluded by explaining that "from the government team will continue working on a common project that benefits all lumbrerenses and the firm will implement measures and initiatives that contribute to the advancement of Puerto Lumbreras."
