The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Culture, has organized various activities to promote reading among children.

More than twenty lumbrerenses already part of the new Reading Club "Meeting Point".

The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has implemented through the Culture Department reprogramming of cultural initiatives in the Library Network of the town with "the aim of encouraging reading among young children"
