New Virtual Office in Puerto Lumbreras to allow citizens to carry out administrative procedures online (15/02/2012)

With this new virtual office, "we try to bring local government neighbors to streamline municipal Procedures and provide information through new technologies."

The new Electronic Platform includes a portal that offers information of interest to citizens, for case management online, or a register to interact electronically with the administration for submission of documents and requests relating to administrative procedures.

The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched a Virtual Office through their website www.puertolumbreras.es with which citizens can obtain information and perform administrative municipal online without physically traveling to City Hall.

This morning, the Councillor for New Technologies, Genaro Perez, and the Councillor for Economy and Employment, Juana Guirao, presented the new Virtual Office that "through the new technologies aim to bring administration closer to all citizens of the town ".

In this sense, the Councillor for New Technologies, Genaro Perez, explained that "with this new Virtual Office what we want from the session is to put new technologies at the service of citizens and workers of the consistory to streamline procedures and provide an electronic service of quality. "

Thus, the new Virtual Office comes under the motto "The City at home ..." and offers several services that until now had to perform them moving to the City, among them online filing and higher in the Registration Office of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, or requests proof of censuses. On the other hand, among the services offered by the new eGovernment platform is the possibility of making electronic payments for a transfer between the population and the entity local as well as the option to obtain cadastral certificates, doing paperwork or connect urban Virtual Office Collection Agency. In addition, the Virtual Office allows general request, duplicate receipts and apply for registration flyers. In this regard, Perez , explained that "ultimately what provides the new Virtual Office is the ability to manage certificates and documents from the network, providing citizens with management management more comfortable."

Also, the new Virtual Office offers the possibility of appointment or check online chemists there every day of the month in the township.

Finally, the office link to access the online paperwork provided by the Regional Government and Central Government through their respective websites for citizens to have access to these Procedures offered by other administrations.
