Puerto Lumbreras participates in the First Conference on Vocational Technical framed in the European Project Leonardo Da Vinci (01/06/2012)

The conference will take place on June 6 at the Cultural Center of the Elven House and is expected to attend teaching one hundred representatives of all Spain and the EU

The town of Puerto Lumbreras will host on Wednesday 6 June the First Conference "Culture in use of ICT in Vocational Training", framed within the European project Leonardo Da Vinci.

Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, with the Director of the Center for Language and Communication of Lorca, José Gallardo, presented this morning the conference "to promote the quality of vocational training within the European Union".

Specifically, this is a conference that has its history in 2010 when seven European countries (Romania, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greece, France and Latvia) decided to conduct a joint project in the framework of Leonardo Association.

Under the coordination of Rambla de Nogalte IES (Puerto Lumbreras), in collaboration with the Center for Language and Communication of Lorca, the project has conducted two courses during 2010/2012.

Once completed, the partners developed in Puerto Lumbreras the conference "in order to present the results of the project and share experiences of good practice in the field of Vocational Training" explains Maria Tunisia.

So these first days will be held on June 6 at the Cultural Center of the Elven House.

Thus, the purpose of this conference is to promote the quality of vocational training under the Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships through the exhibition of work by schools, businesses and other government agencies in Europe.

Specifically, it aims to encourage the training of teachers in the areas of languages ​​and new information technologies and communication, the latest scientific and educational contributions related to e-learning activities and disseminate the European Project on Student Mobility Practices of training cycles.

In this sense, the main thematic areas cover topics such as Language, Vocational Training, European programs, digital content, e-learning in different educational levels, use of ICT in the European dimension

Also, recipients of this conference are Teacher Training of non-university education, Coordinator of European Projects, Equipment Managers, Teachers and Teaching languages ​​other interested faculty positions in European Projects.

Note that these sessions have been coordinated by the Center for Language and Communication (CPR) in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Ministry of Education, Training and Employment in the Region of Murcia (Directorate General of Human Resources and Quality of Education) House Cultural Center of the Elves, and the IES Nogalte Rambla de Puerto Lumbreras.
