One hundred teachers participating in the EU Conference on Vocational Training in the Project Leonardo Da Vinci (06/06/2012)

Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, with the Director of the Center for Language and Communication of Lorca, José Gallardo, inaugurated this morning the day's experiences and best practices set by the project members from different countries of the Union Europe.

Puerto Lumbreras today welcomed the conclusions of the First Conference "Culture in use of ICT in Vocational Training", framed within the European project Leonardo Da Vinci.

Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, with the Director of the Center for Language and Communication of Lorca, José Gallardo, inaugurated this morning the day's experiences and best practices set by the project members from different countries of the Union Europe.

Specifically, the participating countries (Romania, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Latvia, France and Greece) have presented their experiences and examples of good practice based on the use of new technologies and foreign language learning.

In this sense, we have conducted several papers in the Green Room of the Cultural Center houses Elven Puerto Lumbreras.

Thus, the rapporteur of Spain has been from the Secondary School Rambla de Nogalte under "Use of ICT in Vocational Training".

Thus, the conferences that were held previously, had its precedent in 2010 when seven European countries (Romania, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greece, France and Latvia) decided to conduct a joint project in the framework of a Leonardo Association.

Under the coordination of Rambla de Nogalte IES (Puerto Lumbreras), in collaboration with the Center for Language and Communication of Lorca, the project has conducted two courses during 2010/2012.

Once completed, the partners have developed in Puerto Lumbreras the days 'in order to present the project results and share experiences of good practice in the field of Vocational Training' explains Maria Tunisia, Councillor of Education.

Furthermore, the purpose of this conference was to promote the quality of vocational training under the Leonardo da Vinci Partnerships through the exhibition of works by institutions, companies and other agencies across Europe.

Specifically, it aims to encourage the training of teachers in the areas of languages ​​and new information technologies and communication, the latest scientific and educational contributions related to e-learning activities and disseminate the European Project on Student Mobility Practices of training cycles.

Note that these sessions have been coordinated by the Center for Language and Communication (CPR) in collaboration with the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, Ministry of Education, Training and Employment in the Region of Murcia (Directorate General of Human Resources and Quality of Education) House Cultural Center of the Elves, and the IES Nogalte Rambla de Puerto Lumbreras.
