Pedro Antonio Sanchez has held a first meeting with the president of the CHS, Miguel Angel Ródenas, which has agreed to a visit in the coming weeks to the municipality to hold a meeting with the government team and the Community of Irrigators, in which planned new projects in basin for the municipality.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, met this morning with President of the Segura basin, Miguel Angel Ródenas, with which it has carried out a first contact and a first analysis of current needs the municipality in basin.
Thus, during the meeting it was agreed the visit of President of the CHS to Puerto Lumbreras in the coming weeks to meet with the current government team to analyze and assess new projects and activities in the municipality.
Similarly, it is also envisaged in this first visit to the municipality a meeting of President of the Segura River Basin and Local Government Team with representatives of the Commonwealth of Puerto Lumbreras Irrigation, in order to study the current needs of the municipality in basin.
Sanchez said that "the City and the Segura basin will work together to tackle new projects and investments in the municipality to suit the current needs of our water users."
Sanchez has also recalled that "for Puerto Lumbreras projects in water are of vital importance to further develop the primary sector of the municipality that is established as one of the main drivers of the local economy."
