The town of Puerto Lumbreras hosts during the first week of July Summer Camp 'English Camp' in which 60 young people reinforce their learning of English for 10 days.
The councilman of Youth, Sports, and Volunteer, Jose Aragon, this morning visited the young people involved in this initiative that takes place in the Youth Hostel Cabezo la Jara and has been organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the company Hobbies and Leisure 'The Mill'.
Among the planned activities include educational workshops and crafts, water activities and sports facilities Youth Hostel and environmental workshops.
The camp includes different turn teaching hours to learning English at different levels as well as recreational activities, film screenings and lectures in English.
On the other hand, typical activities include camping and environmental itineraries, excursions, visits to the observatory, visit the interpretation center, festivals, theme days and other fun activities.
The Councillor for Sports, Youth and Volunteering, Joseph Aragon, stressed that "the Youth Hostel cabezo la Jara has become one of the benchmarks for summer camps in our region. Learning English as a second language is the main theme of this first camp involving 60 young people from different municipalities of the Region. "
