Puerto Lumbreras gave awards and honors citizens and local authorities on the occasion of Independence Day (08/07/2012)

The distinction of 'lumbrerense of the Year' went to Pedro Jose Mateos, Powerlifting Champion of Spain, while the Silver Medal of the municipality was awarded the Club Deportivo Lumbreras.
