Thus, during the meeting it was agreed to double the frequency of service currently provided in Puerto Lumbreras, in order to "expedite the process of issuing and renewal of ID in the town, preventing displacement of citizens to other cities."

In this sense, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that "from now on will expand this service for citizens requiring issuing or renewing your passport or identity card, do so immediately in our town without having to travel to other locations. "

To do this, Sanchez explained that "the Mobile Equipment National Police will double the frequency of service, from providing services once a month to do it every 15 days."

Thus, during the first half of 2012 were over 200 renewals and ID expeditions which have taken place in Puerto Lumbreras.

So far, a Police Mobile Team National monthly Lorca moved to facilities of the City of Puerto Lumbreras to provide the issuing and renewal of national identity and passports by appointment.
