The president of the State Society of Agricultural Infrastructure (SEIASA), Francisco Norte and CEO Acuamed, Arcadio Mateo del Puerto, met in Puerto Lumbreras with the Mayor and representatives of the Community Irrigation municipality to start the project running with the modernization of irrigation works.

It will invest a total of over 4.5 million euros to modernize and ultimate recovery of irrigation networks after damage suffered because of the flood of Sept. 28.

The Council of Ministers approved on Friday new investments of more than EUR 4.5 million for the modernization of irrigation in Puerto Lumbreras.

So, the mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, with President and representatives of the Community of Irrigators have met with the president of the State Society of Agricultural Infrastructure (SEIASA), Francisco North, and the CEO of Acuamed, Arcadio Matthew's Puerto, to start the project with performances running for modernization and ultimate recovery of irrigation networks.

So, Sanchez explained that "with new investments approved by the Council of Ministers execute the necessary works for the modernization and ultimate recovery of irrigation networks Puerto Lumbreras which suffered significant damage from the floods."

Thus, they spend more than 4.5 million euros to undertake the works necessary for the modernization of irrigation ultimate recovery following damage affecting more than 95% of the networks.

So ACUAMED SEIASA and provide advice, and providing technical assistance in the modernization works of irrigation in Puerto Lumbreras.
