The City Council approves new measures to enhance the employability of the unemployed and facilitate the creation of new companies (02/04/2013)

According to Puerto Lumbreras known yesterday keeps dropping its unemployment rate, which for more than two years is 14 points below the national average unemployment.

The Mayor pointed out that "even though the unemployment data are good, the City will implement new measures to promote job creation."

Puerto Lumbreras City Council unanimously approved at the last Full Council, a motion to support and promote the 50 measures contained in the Royal Decree Law 4/2013 on support for entrepreneurs, youth employment and SME funding through reductions in contributions Social Security, tax breaks and other incentives.

With this motion so that the session is intended to strengthen and step up measures to promote job creation in the town, which is currently 14 points below the national average unemployment.

In that sense, the measures adopted by the Government in the Cabinet include bonuses of up to 100% on contributions to part-time contracts and temporary younger than 30 years, creating a flat rate of 50 euros in Social Security contributions for under-30s, and extension at 2,600 million euros of provider payment plan for bills dated prior to January 1, 2012.

Also, the local mayor, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, explained that "job creation is a top priority for the government team right now. "

Sanchez has also added that "through the express license for companies exempted from environmental qualification, we have reduced administrative paperwork and to expedite the implementation of new business in 24 hours."
