The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Culture, organized throughout the month of April various activities that encourage reading during the celebration of World Book Day on 23 April.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has implemented through the Department of Culture an extensive program of activities included in the Book of the Month in order to promote reading among the different sectors of the local population.
Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, together with the Councillor for Education, Maria Angeles Tunisia, has launched a new program that includes a score of activities throughout the month of April.
Thus, we have presented the new program "that includes various workshops, competitions and exhibitions that make more people participate each year of all ages in this' Book Month '"', highlights the Councillor for Culture, Maribel Martinez.
Specifically, the program includes a literary encounter children with author Marisa Lopez Soria which is open to all children in the municipality.
The meeting with the author of children's literature will be held on Thursday, April 11 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Library, and from 20.30 is held in the House of Elves Talk 'The importance of promoting reading in the family ", also taught by Marisa López Soria.
