The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched improvement and refurbishment works at the Center for Aging Llamas Ruiz Vicente Street.

So during this week are being developed various measures to improve the center and conditioning as installing new flooring with laminate, ceiling replacement and soundproofing of walls to enable areas in order to develop new activities.

Councillor for Social Policy, Maria Angeles Tunis, visited the center to supervise the works along with representatives from the board of the Association of Senior Leisure and Recreation, and explained that with these new actions "the Center of the Third Age Vicente Ruiz Flames will best suit current needs and demand by the biggest of our town ".

Thus, the center of the street Aging Flames of Puerto Lumbreras Ruiz has an area of ​​over 700 square meters on two floors.

On the ground floor, the center includes toilets, changing rooms, a warehouse and three rooms for the development of activities for older people.

On the other hand, the first floor includes services such as hairdressers, cafeteria, kitchen and two multipurpose rooms that are developed in workshops and training activities aimed at seniors.
