The distinction, awarded by the Tourism Institute of Spain (Turespaña) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), recognizes the work of lumbrerenses companies to optimize and improve the quality of services provided by the municipality.
The Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, has delivered this morning tourist quality marks three of the companies within the Integrated Quality System Spanish Tourist Destinations (SCTE).
Puerto Lumbreras Three companies have been recognized with the distinctive Tourism Quality awarded by the Institute of Tourism of Spain (Turespaña) and the Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP).
This morning, the Mayor of the town, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Maribel Martinez, and the president of the Confederation of Employers ASEPLU, Francisco Garcia Elvira, have made delivery of the hallmarks of quality tourism companies House Rural Village La Purisima, Guirrete Celebrations and Events and the Tourist Office in the locality.
In this sense, the mayor, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, said that "the City Council have made a commitment to tourism as a source of economic development in our municipality."
Also explained that "recognizes the distinctive work carried out by our company to provide quality tourism services".
In this way it has become distinctive delivery to three of the twelve companies adhering to the Integrated Spanish Tourism Quality in Destinations (SCTE) in Puerto Lumbreras became the ninth to Travel to the Region of Murcia, and the private companies working with management to optimize their travel services.
Sanchez explained that "with the participation of Puerto Lumbreras in the project SICTED optimize and improve all tourist services that are provided in our town to increase the satisfaction of tourists visiting the town".
Thus, through SICTED project to improve quality of tourist destinations are unified quality standards of the services offered in Puerto Lumbreras through specialized technical advice to all companies directly or indirectly related to the tourism sector.
It is also working on improving services through training plans and advice for tourism businesses.
In addition, the project offers many advantages for business and tourist services of the municipality, as improvements in internal management, technical assistance, and increased equipment qualification.
In total there are 12 Puerto Lumbreras tourism companies which have joined the project so far SICTED.
