The economic benefits collected by the school who have donated to Caritas Parish from the sale of crafts like bracelets and key chains, through Creasur school cooperatives and La Jara.

5 th grade students of Elementary Public School Sacred Heart Parish Caritas have donated to the benefits obtained with Creasur school cooperatives and La Jara they have created through the project "Entrepreneurship in My School".

Thus, during this school year students have sold handicrafts made by them as mugs, key chains, bracelets, rings and pens, among others.

In this way, students have donated a total of 120 euros raised through the sale of their products and have made Parish Caritas Cheque delivery Solidario the pastor of the town, Serafin Campoy, as well as volunteers from Caritas.

This donation is to promote programs that Caritas in Puerto Lumbreras to help the poorest families.

In this sense, 'Entrepreneurship in my school' is an educational program aimed at primary school pupils, in which during the school year the students create and manage a cooperative in making products that sell once a year, in a market or fair in your community as well as in a regional fair involving different schools in the Region of Murcia.

Thus the EME project promotes the development of skills associated with communication, physical environment analysis, building, coexistence and citizenship, or digital literacy.

'Adopt a family'

The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras and Parish Caritas has launched a new charity campaign under the slogan "Adopt a family" with the aim of helping the neediest people in the municipality.

Thus, the campaign runs throughout the year.

To do this, Caritas Parish has made available to citizens and businesses an account number through which interested persons may sponsor families in the municipality without resources through a financial contribution.

The monetary amount of donations is optional for those who want to help and can do so in a timely manner or throughout the year.
