The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Municipal Council, unanimously adopted a motion requesting the Interior Ministry collaboration and the Delegation of the Government to expand the staff of the Guardia Civil in Puerto Lumbreras.
So, the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, explained that "we reiterate this request in order to increase the staff of the Civil Guard, taking into account the increase experienced by the population in recent years."
Specifically, the Council requested the expansion of the staff of the Civil Guard, as well as an increase in the extent possible, material and technical means for the body to develop Civil Guard in their work better security.
