The City and Parish Caritas distributed more than 6,000 kg of food for distribution to needy families (13/07/2013)

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the parish priest and president of Caritas Parish, Serafin Campoy, visited the Spanish Red Cross facilities in Molina de Segura, which received 6,300 kg of non-perishable food reinforce donations to needy families in the township.

Caritas Parish and the City Council over the last year distributed more than 25,000 kilos of food staples benefiting nearly 400 citizens with special difficulties.

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, by the parish priest and president of Caritas Parish, Serafin Campoy, visited the Spanish Red Cross facilities in Molina de Segura, who has a food bank out for collection, storage and distribution of surplus food with the intent to make them reach those most in need in the Region of Murcia.
