In the day, users of the Senior Social Center of Lorca thanked the Day Centre for older people of Puerto Lumbreras and the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras by the host municipality facilities after the earthquake of May 11, 2011 in Lorca .
The Director General of the Instituto Murciano Senior Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez Abellan, participated in the conference that formed part of the summer program of Puerto Lumbreras 'Cultural Nogalte'.
The town of Puerto Lumbreras has hosted a cultural festival organized by users of the Senior Social Center of Lorca in representing the play 'Doņa Pamelas' and did a poetry reading.
The initiative, which has been framed within the Cultural Nogalte summer program of Puerto Lumbreras, was organized by higher Social Center as a thank Lorca Day Centre for older people of Puerto Lumbreras, and the City Council, after staying at the to higher Lorca for a provisional period of Lorca after the earthquakes of May 11, 2011.
Similarly, in the largest cultural festival of Lorca Social Centre also represented a sample of regional dances.
It was attended by over 300 people and also participated CEO Senior Murciano Institute for Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez Abellan, by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Maribel Martinez, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Maria Tunisia Angeles.
