The works improve the streets and approaches from the old to the Nogalte Castle area with resurfacing, new paving, street furniture and building elements that promote accessibility with handrails, reinforced steep slopes and creating ramps.
The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras has launched new works to revitalize the old part of town and create shortcuts that bind directly to the Castle Nogalte and cave houses.
For this, actions have been executed in order to condition the streets and access area.
In this sense, Pedro Antonio Sanchez explained that "with these new actions energize our old aim, integrating and connecting with the new set Nogalte Medina tourism".
It has pointed out that "among the actions that are being developed emphasizes conditioning of urban layout, accessibility improvements, and remodeling of the approaches that connect directly with the environment Nogalte Castle".
Thus, the works have an investment of more than 180,000 euros, funded jointly by the Association for the Integral Development Campodos, and the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras.
Specifically, the works that are being developed consist of conditioning and improvement of streets and access the old, focusing on strong replacement, paving and paving.
Also are creating elements that enhance the accessibility of the area with railings, steep slopes correction and creating small sections staggered ramps combined.
Moreover, among the planned actions also highlights the signaling element placement, building planters and benches and street furniture.
In this regard, Sanchez concluded by explaining that "our intention is to continue to revitalize and highlighting our old town, which in recent years have built new tourist and cultural spaces as the House Elves or the Museum of the Brotherhoods of Easter ".
