This morning the Mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and the Director of Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Handicrafts inaugurated the Medieval Market and Craft Fair, which will be open throughout the weekend in the town on the occasion of the festivity.
The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, the general manager of Consumer, Trade and Handicrafts, M ª Dolores Alarcón, the Councillor for Tourism and the Councillor of Commerce inaugurated this morning the Medieval Market and Craft Fair Local, located in the Passage of the Queen, on the occasion of the festivity 2013.
The Medieval Market will be held all day Saturday and Sunday and displayed exhibits and crafts workshops missing.
May also see different medieval characters hanging around the area, as well as animals of the time.
In addition, there will be displays of old crafts, falconry barbershop and bedding.
On the other hand, the booths set up at the Medieval Market, involving more than 40 artisans, they also offer a selection of typical gastronomic products.
Also during this first day, the market has offered different shows like the staging of various medieval characters, and a group of animation.
Adding that the fair has been organized by the Department of Trade, Industry and SMEs of the Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras in collaboration with the Directorate General of Trade and Crafts.
Also many local craftsmen have had a booth at the Craft Fair which expose a selection of handicrafts such as paintings, soaps, work in Esparto, honey and embroidery, among many others.
The craftsmanship of Puerto Lumbreras is characterized by using traditional local materials to manufacture their products, and by using manual techniques moving away from mass production, thus working wood, stone, ceramics, glass, cane and esparto.
Sunday festival with the procession of the Virgin of the Rosary
Tomorrow, Sunday, art lovers will gather at eight o'clock in the Cultural Center to participate in the XIX Painting Contest "Corners of Puerto Lumbreras".
The winners of this traditional event will receive awards at 2130 hours at the Cultural Center of the Duendes.Por House morning, at 11:00 am will be the floral offering and the Mass in honor of the Blessed.
Virgen del Rosario.

From 22:00 h on municipal booth will have the performance of Jose Manuel Soto.
On the other hand, will take place at 23:30 Manu Tenorio concerts and Kiko & Sara in young carp.
