During yesterday afternoon Puerto Lumbreras was dressed to accompany the patron, the Virgin of the Rosary, through the main streets of the town.
At 19:00 came off the Virgin from the church, where numerous lumbrerenses gathered to accompany the patron during the tour.
Municipal Corporation, associations, and numerous lumbrerenses accompanied the Virgin, carried on the shoulders of the bearers, through the main streets of the town.
Also, ladies and queens of the Festival followed the procession dressed in the Spanish mantilla.
The celebration of the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7 back in the Catholic Church to 1572.
It was established in the Dominican Liturgy by Pope St. Pius V.
His successor, Gregory XIII, contributed to the spread of the party to establish it in those parishes that had brotherhood.
