The Mayor and the Director General of Labour award prizes school campaign 'Security Grows' (11/10/2013)

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras, M ª Ángeles Tunisia, and the director general of labor, Fernando Vélez, has come to the Assumption Primary School to present awards Jordan's campaign aimed at training school and guidance school and job security.

The Municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, through the Department of Education, participated in the campaign 'Security Grows', promoted by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Counseling Education, Universities and Employment.

The program moved to the school environment awareness raising and training in the field of prevention of risks in daily life.

"The main objective is to raise awareness Security Grows on accidents to schoolchildren through a firm commitment to the implementation of a 'culture of prevention' in schools, home and work. The program, which has had the participation of students from 5th grade of primary school, has included, in addition to numerous training sessions, and a drawing competition in which schoolchildren participating schools.

The mayor of Puerto Lumbreras and the CEO have made awards of the season with 12 pupils winners.

During the awards ceremony, Tunisia has placed particular emphasis on the importance of the project, and that "the program is based on child safety as a step towards safety at work and to promote healthy attitudes. Such initiatives will reduce the number of accidents and improve the quality of life of the smallest ".

In addition, the Mayor added that "the program included lectures on prevention, workplace and school safety, which was attended by over 600 schools in the municipality. Moreover, sesionas have included learning through multimedia with games'.

The first three have been Imane contest Chamrani, Laura Ponce and Nacira Berrafai, who have obtained a digital camera prize.

The other winners have received sports equipment, in addition to their diplomas 'Security Grows'.
